About Bluebox Originals

-Unique clothing items recycled or sourced from salvage

-Recycled by hand in the US, so every item is unique

-Clothing items are recycled using acid washing, over-dyeing, and tailoring.

-All sales support our mission of reducing textile waste, and fund our non-profit programs.

Where is Goodwill Bluebox's clothing sourced from?

We sort through clothing that didn't sell in store's clothing rotation, to find quality, wearable clothing before it reaches salvage or a landfill. Clothing is chosen for Bluebox before it reaches our last-chance/outlet center.

What quality of clothing can I expect in my box?

Our clothing boxes have items with a retail value of $4-100 per piece. Clothing items are donated and used, and will show light signs of wear. Minor imperfections are to be expected of used, donated clothing. While all of our clothing is used, we sort to insure that damaged clothing is not included in the boxes. All clothing is in wearable condition, with light, used wear.

Is Goodwill Bluebox a 'reseller box?'

No. While we appreciate the re-seller community, and their ability to upcycle and extend the life of clothing, Goodwill Bluebox is not exclusively sold as a reseller box. Often, clothing items are valuable enough to be resold, and we sort for the highest quality clothing available to us, but our primary mission is not for the contents of the box to be resold. Our mission is to clothe communities with discount clothing boxes and to reduce landfill waste. Our motto is that clothes should be worn, not wasted.

What is Bluebox Originals?

Bluebox Originals is a collaborative, textile sustainability clothing-line project developed by Goodwill Bluebox. We curate and recycle vintage / damaged clothing for our curated collection, and collaborate with fashion designers for recycled and re-designed original apparel.

What does my Goodwill Bluebox purchase support?

Every purchase from Goodwill Bluebox supports Gulfstream Goodwill's 43+ non-profit programs.

What is your refund/return policy?

We offer returns on boxes that are sized incorrectly or are received with damage beyond that of normal wear.

Want to collaborate with Goodwill Bluebox? Contact us at goodwillbluebox@gulfstreamgoodwill.org

All proceeds from Bluebox Originals and Goodwill Bluebox directly fund our programs that offer job training, housing, education, and support for disabled members of our community. We collaborate with fashion designers and artists to recycle salvage clothing with original prints, acid washing, tie-dye, and more to reduce the environmental impact of clothing waste.

Interested in equitably collaborating to reduce textile waste and support non-profit programs? Designers and artists are welcome to reach out to us at goodwillbluebox@gulfstreamgoodwill.org for collab info.

Goodwill Bluebox is a sustainable clothing concept developed by Gulfstream Goodwill Industries in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Our mission is to maximize the impact of community clothing donations by reducing exports and waste while offering unique clothing finds at a fraction of retail prices. Clothing that didn’t find its match in our stores is redirected before becoming environmentally harmful landfill waste, or economically burdensome textile exports.

Bluebox Originals recycles salvage textiles & clothing in collaboration with local designers and clothing repurposing. We stain-wash, acid-wash, mend, and redesign salvage clothing for resale to reduce textile waste and fund our mission of changing lives through employment, training, and housing. Printed garments combine original designs in collaboration with Slowdrag to create an original clothing line.

All purchases & donations not only help us on our mission to reduce textile waste, but also support over four dozen unique non profit community programs in South Florida.

About Bluebox Originals:

-Unique clothing items recycled or sourced from salvage

-Recycled by hand in the US, so every item is unique

-Clothing items are recycled using acid washing, over-dyeing, and tailoring

-All sales support our mission of reducing textile waste, and fund our non-profit programs

We collaborate with fashion designers and artists to recycle salvage clothing with original prints, acid washing, tie-dye, and more to reduce the environmental impact of clothing waste.
